My name is Michele, and I am the proud owner of a small cageless cattery here in Northeast Indiana. I live here with my husband and two wonderful teenagers. I am a stay at home mom. Being home has been wonderful for the socialization and care of our kitties. My focus is on dilutes and more importantly temperament. To me, body type and temperament is everything. Color is just icing on the cake. I breed according to the CFA Show Standard and therefor all my kitties are extreme.
I have had a love for cats my whole life. Growing up on a dairy farm, my parents always knew where to find me... in the barn searching for kittens. More then just my love for cats, there has been an even greater love for the Persian breed. There has always been a Persian cat in my parents home for as long as I can remember.
In early 2007 my sister sent me on a quest to find her a Persian kitten on the Internet. In that quest, I began to dream of having my own Cattery. I already had a beautiful Silver Tabby Persian male who was neutered, but I wanted to become a breeder and to get into the show ring. By the fall of 2007, I had my first breeding pair. I was well on my way to what has now become Autumn-Purrs. Along this journey, I have met some of the most wonderful breeders who were willing to give me a chance, and to share their beautiful kitties with me. For this, I can not thank them enough!
